Vandal-resistant proximity reader with a slim profile and compact dimensions. It can operate in standalone mode with an external controller or centralized mode, depending on the Wiegand 26 controller to which it is connected.

The controller allows up to 2 different types of access when installing a proximity reader.
- Card only
- Multi-card: The door will open when between 2 and 9 valid cards are presented. This multi-card access system requires the user to be accompanied at all times. For example, if the controller is programmed with 3 identifiers, the user will present their valid card to operate the door, and the door will not open until two additional valid cards are presented (for example, those of security guards).
CENTRALIZED MODE WITH EXTERNAL CONTROLLER To access the user database on a PC or grant access to more than 1,000 people, this Wiegand 26 proximity reader can be directly connected to a controller for installation in a centralized system such as AC+, AC-MAX, and IP AXES.
