How do I know if my video intercom is compatible with the service?
The only Fermax video intercoms compatible with the DuoxMe application are those with our Duox Plus technology. Check here if yours is compatible with the service.
Do visitors know if I am answering the call from DuoxMe?
No, they cannot know. When you answer from the DuoxMe application a call you receive in your video intercom, to all intents and purposes, you will do it as if you were doing it in your home.
How much bandwidth do you need for optimised call forwarding?
When using your smartphone, you need at least 0.150 Mbps upload speed and 0.5 Mbps download speed from your mobile data network or Wi-Fi connection. Please note that the upload bandwidth available on your Internet connection will affect the speed at which the monitor streams audio and video to your smartphone. If you are streaming music or video or using other services on the same network, the quality and call routing times may be affected.
Can someone connect to my video intercom to control it without my authorisation?
No. We use security protocols, such as encrypted connections and traffic encryption, which protect communications between your video intercom and your mobile phone.
Only users who are paired to your home or those authorised by you (guests) can answer the video intercom calls, open the door and use the rest of the functions offered by the DuoxMe app.
